Wipeout Pure Review

Here is a review Wipeout Pure for the PSP. I have been playing Wipeout Pure lately and it is a really good game. Not very much of a "putter downer" and a very miss if you do put it down. First the good stuff. The graphics are incredible for a handheld game, (which everyone has already heard at least 12 times.) The futuristic cars look really good and the game is pretty smooth. When things explode from weapons, it looks cool. Speaking of the weapons, there are a lot in this game. You have the bomb, the spike, the tracker, the blaster thingy, the missiles, etc.. You also have some tools such as the autodrive where the computer controls your ship and put in the correct direction, as well as defense systems to help you, of course, defend yourself. With these weapons, you can pwn!!! But after you shoot down those bitches, then you have to get at least 3rd to get to a next race. The race tracks are challenging and nice and long. Also it has it has pretty good audio. Ok, now the bad. First of it is (like every racing game) SO repetitive. It has very hard and boring mini-games like one where you try to make turns without getting hit. Also, the online is only you going on the Wipeout Pure website to download content, no online races. Well overall it is a good game and gets a 4 out of 5.
